Move Free made it to the #4 spot on our list. Here’s why.

Move Free is a natural joint health supplement which claims to help improve your joint function. It’s supposed to work by providing your body with the raw ingredients it needs to keep joints functioning at their best. The company has an official website you can buy from, but you can also purchase it through Amazon. The product comes at a decent price, one which is on par with similar quality supplements.

  • Contains glucosamine, chondroitin, and hyaluronic acid
  • Mostly naturally-derived
  • Only two pills per dose
  • Reasonable price

  • Limited formula
  • No idea where it’s made
  • Pills contain synthetic ingredients

What Are The Ingredients?

The company behind this product, Schiff Vitamins, claims the product works as intended and is suitable for long-term use. All of the active ingredients, as far as we can see, come from natural sources, but the inactive ingredients include synthetic substances like titanium dioxide, polyethylene glycol, and magnesium stearate.

Here are some of the standout ingredients:

Glucosamine: A critical amino sugar which helps the body synthesize lipids and some proteins, it is considered very important in the maintenance of the joints and their health. Lower levels of glucosamine are found in older people who have joint issues, and so supplementing with glucosamine is supposed to help protect the joints and keep them working.

Chondroitin: An important part of the cartilage which makes up part of the joints, chondroitin is the raw substance that is needed to synthesize new cartilage tissue. With stronger cartilage, joints function much better and more easily. Supplementing with chondroitin is supposed to help joints retain their function longer.

Hyaluronic Acid: A common and popular substance used in both joint products and beauty products, hyaluronic acid is part of the substance which lubricates and cushions the joints and helps improve flexibility. While it’s generally injected by approved medical practitioners, some suggest supplementing with it in pill form.

Calcium Fructoborate: A salt that provides boron to the body, this compound has been found to exhibit “protective” effects against the body’s inflammatory response. By preventing inflammation, it’s supposed to help reduce pain and swelling associated with arthritis.

Effects: GOOD

  • Keeps joints protected
  • Promotes better long-term joint health
  • Reduces inflammation
  • Prevents weakness and enhances flexibility

Effects: BAD

  • Takes a while to work
  • Not as effective as others

Move Free as many of the hallmarks of a great joint supplement: it’s made by a professional company that’s been in business for years, it has natural active ingredients, and it offers scientific papers backing up the actions of its formula. Everything seems to be going well, and for a glucosamine chondroitin supplement, we suppose they are.

Unfortunately there are some drawbacks that could cause some issues for people. The first one is that the formula is fairly weak, as it only consists of 4 main ingredients. It also doesn’t contain many anti-inflammatory ingredients, something which we would expect from a joint supplement. We also don’t know where the product is made, as there is no “Made In -” printed on the bottle. That’s something that modern customers need to know, just to make sure that the product they’re buying was made with transparency in mind. There are also lots of synthetic ingredients in the “inactive” section of the formula, which may put off some people who want natural products.

So if you’re in the market for a joint supplement, Move Free might be something you could consider taking a chance on, if you don’t care about natural formulas and if you are fine with a limited number of ingredients.
